I appear to have downloaded the Trovi browser hijacker on my laptop. Does anyone have any safe and foolproof tips for getting rid of it? (Not wanting to randomly download things from the internet, since I assume this is how it got there in the first place...)

It's a Windows 7 machine and I use both Explorer and Chrome.
