Have3 day trip planned thu-sat.
hoping to get up to scafell friday.
Any thoughts on conditions? Will it be dry?

Pretty dry in langdale, beck is bone dry so would expect conditions to be ok provided it doesn't rain

Ha...what do you expect? If its raining it'll be wet, if it's windy it'll be a bit...windy and if its warm you might get a bit sweaty.
It's not the north face of the eiger.
Conditions ffs. Take a coat and get on with it. Oh and have fun.

east buttress looked to be wet last fri - still big wet streaks. may well have dried since then...

We were up Scafell on Tuesday, nearly all the routes are dry, just a bit of seepage in the usual places, such as the crack of Nazgul, second pitch of Zeya, etc.
It should be in better conditions by the weekend, get up there and enjoy yourself.
Did a superb link of several pitches at HVS, Narrow Stand P1, the last Pitch of CB Girdle (incredible exposure right above the lip of the overhangs above Harvest - belting pitch!)and a romp up Clockwork Orange - one of the thinnest HVS slab pitches around, quality stuff, and quite an adventure up a neglected part of the crag.
