Any upbeat Latin recommendations would not go a miss please.

The sort of stuff to get your hips swaying and your labido into overdrive.

Mina . "Esperame en el cielo". As used in the Almodovar film "Matador". Check out your lass for hairpins before you get down to it
Or Celia Cruz "Te Busco" from the film "Lantana".

Keep calm and carry on quod Caecilius est in horto.

(That one is for everyone who enjoyed a certain Latin course at school; it's still going strong, Caecilius est in horto, coquus est in culina et totum est bonum in mundo!)

In reply to BusyLizzie:

"enjoyed" and "Latin" didn't really go together for me, but that could have been the teacher

I think many people had that experience, which is sad; it is such a satisfying language, and today's teaching materials are accessble and fun. Not too late to try again! Carpe diem!

Is my Pseudo really a licence to flame no matter what I ask?
In reply to The Lemming:

Not at all, you've got a good thing going here.
Latin rocks.

Also how cool would it be to dance your lady to Latin (music) and then quote in Latin

Amor vincit omnia

That would melt any heart

PS: I've no knowledge of Latin American music , so can't really help with that aspect.

Just watched Cuban Fury, and I WANT that soundtrack.

It ticks all the right boxes.

Edit

I don't feel well. Just bought my first ever MP3 album, and I was sober.
