So I'm heading to wales in a few days time with a friend and I'm looking to do some long mountain days linking multi pitch climbing with scrambles or something similar. Basically I'm looking for suggestions.

Things similar to idwal slabs followed by cneifion arete.
Happy to climb up to HVS multi pitch. So, does anyone know of anything that they would recommend?

This book might be exactly what you're after, it's organised in terms of mountain days, linking scrambles and climbs (up to VDiff) together:

If you haven't done it already, one that springs to mind is the Clogwyn y Person day. Walk up to the base of Cyrn Las, scramble up to the right hand side of the waterfall (up to Grade 3). Then do the Parson's Nose, leading into the Clogwyn y Person Arete. Then either continue to Snowdon summit, or turn left, cross Crib Goch and down the North Ridge.

A good day is milestone buttress, either route, then one of the classics on the east face of Tryfan, followed by the alphabet slab, then direct route on Dinas Mot...possible to include Munich Climb or Lots Groove both HVS in this itinerary..
In reply to Jeromecooper:

Idwal: Tennis Shoe, Original Route on Holly Tree Wall, Groove Above and Grey Rib/Slab would be the classic one for me.

the east face of Tryfan has some great long multi pitch routes, as mentioned above; munich and Bel Vue are good. even though easier , you can still spice these up but Grooved arete and first pinnacle are classic routes,
And in the pass i would recommend Diagonal, on Dinas Mot, the third pitch is lovely, it is all good .

Me and a mate did the Copa Cerrig at the weekend, and it was really good. Highly recommend it.

Western Slabs (Dinas Mot), Slow Ledge Climb (Dinas Mot), Main Wall (Cyrn Las) ,Gambit Climb ( Clogwyn y Ddysgl) and Crib Coch descending the north ridge (or you can do reeds route if you have the energy)

Tennis Shoe, whatever you fancy on Holly Tree Wall (Javelin is superb), something on Continuation Wall, continue on to Glyder Fawr - Grey Arete or Grey Slabs, then head over for Manx Wall if you've time. Descend via the Gribbin ridge.
