Off to gower in a few weeks. Wife kids and dog. Hoping to slope off for a few hours ( a day).
Anybody got ideas re good cliffs e1-4 or sport 6a-7a with good acess from above and not too scary.

Abseiled into gunards head last year and did mastodon, just a bit too scary transferring from free abseil to shunt plus swinging in to get to cliff! Keen not to repeat!!

Any ideas folks? Thanks for looking

Pennard has a hatful of shortish trad routes in your grade range which you could probably shunt. Also it's non tidal and very easy access.

Another option, at the other end of the peninsula (and with better rock and routes now I think about it, but less to go at), is Trial Wall out at Rhossili. Also non-tidal and easy access.

Excellent, thanks for that. Not always easy to tell from guidebooks. Those should get me started!
