Anyone done Minus One Direct recently? The webcams show quite a lot of snow at the base of it, so am wondering how it is.

A mate did it a week or so ago, and reported "2 pitches of Bergshrund action to get on to the cliff". But they seemed to have a good day!

Prof Tim, was asking recently about chances of a summer gully ski session close by. I think He had positive replies from happy skiers!

There is still a lot of snow at the bottom but you should get across. Maybe go up the right hand side and cut across the gap to the start. I got across to the Long Climb 10 days ago. 2nd pitch of MOD looked wet then but Carn Dearg buttress bone dry yesterday. Rain tomorrow unfortunately.

Did it zillians of years ago - had to contend with a bergshund at bottom but once on the route it was fantastic - one of the best routes I have done.
