Intermittent iPad/wifi problem

I'm having a problem on my iPad with wifi when I'm away from home - using wifi in bars, for example. I can usually connect to the internet but my email account sometimes doesn't work. I get an error message saying that my password is incorrect. This problem is intermittent. Does anyone know if this preoblem comes from the wifi or my iPad?

more likely to be the wifi - but you might try rebooting the iPad? It's easy to forget that they are computers and so cruft (== weird behavior) builds up with time, albeit slowly.

If you haven't done an OS upgrade recently you may not have rebooted for months and months.

It's H's. I think it's sorted now. She turned it right off and started it up again. Seems to have done the trick.

Ah, IT support solution No. 1: 'have you tried turning it off and on again' is successful again...
