In reply to Bingers: Well it may be a case of 'be careful what you wish for'. A Minister for equalities who voted against gay marriage? A noted religious person in charge of education?
We shall see. There is after all nothing wrong with someone having clear and separate personal and professional views and so long as it's the professional ones displayed with regard to her job, that'll be fine. And there'll probably be another one along after next year's election anyway...
