Anybody know when the Burbage plantation is due to be felled?

It was meant to be last year, finished by December 2013.

Don't know that but the plantation deffo isn't in the shape of the UK despite the urban myth!

Here's another explanation from John Horscroft.

"One interesting little titbit - Although it's called the Great Britain plantation, Devon and Cornwall were never planted because it's thought that Canadian munitions from the war are buried in that area!"

Ah - so its the shape of the UK minus the South West, and a chunk of the South East by the look, and the north of Scotland.
