Hi there,

I have never been wild camping but I was hoping to go this weekend and pitch up somewhere near one of the East Lothian beaches. Does anybody know if this is possible are a good spot to camp on around here..? I've trawled through the internet and can't get any information (I guess it's because these spots are best kept secret...). But even a nod saying it is possible is enough to save a wasted trip!

Yes it's very do-able, some lovely spots but I'm not going to tell you any. Just get out and walk along the coast til you find a hidden away place that you fancy. Stating the obvious, and I'm sure you wouldn't, but please please leave no mess!

Very doable, just use the OS. Oh, and please no more sodding fire rings. Every Summer the place just gets degraded a little more.
