Sad news indeed. I had the pleasure of meeting her many years ago when she was playing the local folk clubs in Cumbria (I was behind the bar). She had a wonderful voice. A lovely person.
Very sad news, they seemed like a happy and loving couple. Hopefully the collective thoughts of this part of the mountaineering community will give some comfort.
Without Wendy's support Chris wouldn't have achieved half of what he's done in the mountains. Always sad when your soulmate and life's love dies. May she live on in the memories of those who knew her.
