I climbed in Castle Quarry (near Cardiff) today. A tree had just fallen into the quarry and was hanging on some roots. We took the risk of walking below it a few times. Just after the last climb of the day, the tree moved even lower. We scrambled out of the quarry on the other side (not exactly safe either). The tree was hanging on tiny weak roots when we left.

If you get there and the tree has not fallen completely yet, do NOT think it is stable or just leaning on the wall. It is not stable and you will risk your life if you walk under it.
