Hi,
I have a pet research project about climbing and don't have the time to do the research myself, so I'm looking for an MSc or PhD student who would like to work with me for no pay. I think there would be a paper in it and this would add to your CV. I also think the results would prove very useful to many climbers.

I'm a Prof. at Bath University, UK, but the work could be done anywhere there is a large number of multi pitch climbs. I also don't think the data gathering phase would not take long, so it should not get too in the way of your studies.

what sort of data are you after? it could be fun but its totally off topic for me. I am just finishing a PDRA in fluid dynamics.

It is on the speed of multipitch climbing and would involve video recording at cliffs and then analysing the results to create stats.
