I recently took a wander into Windyhill Quarry (p.149 SMC Lowland Outcrops), which is listed as having 3 routes: 'Hide and Seek' and two VSes. I snapped a picture of what I think was the route, but I'm not 100% sure - can anyone confirm?

Here's a pic of what I think is Hide and Seek: http://imgur.com/wK9EVuW

Is there much else there? Pretty overgrown looking.

In reply to Stevie989:

Possibly, if you scrape away the layers of green gunge and fell the trees. There's a wee bouldering wall across the road.

I always wondered where that Johnstone quarry was, think there was 3 recorded routes on it?

Have climbed at Craig Minnan or whatever it's called in Muirsheilds, anothe obscure crag hereabouts.

Is Craig Minnan worth a visit? I've been running around those wee hills but never paid any attention to the craggy bits.

Well, I'm pretty sure I did the FA of 'Hide-and-Seek', but as it was more than 25 years ago I can't confirm that's it. The crag was a lot less overgrown back then and if that's what it looks like now, I think I would go somewhere else!

Pleasant enough bouldering, could be worth a wee visit along with a run.
