The next Sandstone Open Meeting takes place at Bowles Rocks bar on Sunday 5th October 2014 – 18:30 for 19:00 start. As usual, the BMC will provide snacks, but you buy your own drinks. All the different Sandstone outcrops and anything to do with Sandstone climbing will be on the agenda, but of particular interest will be:
• an update on the proposals to keep the toilet block and campsite open beyond November,
• the next stage of the Harrison's woodland plan,
• Sandstone Erosion (see separate topic) and the Code of Practice,
• the access position for climbing at High Rocks.
