Any radio 2 listeners would already know that the old classic 'and it's better now' was record of the week taken from the first ever quo acoustic album 'Stripped bare'. I'm not normally a fan of acoustic covers but the track list of this album is intriguing and 'And it's better now' sounds incredible compared to the original from the Hello! album which was about as fast as Quo ever got, the track has aged very well with this unplugged version. Last night the band announced a one off concert of the album at the Roundhouse live on R2 next month.
They are what they are we know that but they keep coming up with new ways to do it. Great stuff-

Did you see the documentary on BBC4 (I think) at the weekend? It reminded me of some great times in the late 70's!

Yea I've seen that before but watched it again. I went to the frantic four reunion gig at Manchester Apollo with my dad last year, it was brilliant

While working on the Pleasure Beach as stoodent, I sold Mr Rossi (sic) some raffle tickets.

Do I win the most tenious award?

I also remember standing next to Mr Parfit while he was tuning his guitar in the Yates in town during his solo stint in the early 80's.

Another vote for Top Tenious?
