8a+ indoor success!

We've had an 8a+ up the main overhang at High Sports Crawley for 4 years, originally set by local setter Kris Zuraw. No-one has lead it clean until today when Melissa Adam got it! Whatever you do, don't read the Jim Pope thread on UKB.
If a classic, iconic 8b being climbed by a 15 year old isn't newsworthy, then your indoor 8a has got no chance.
It's probably also not too much of a great idea to advertise the fact that you have four year old routes on your wall

Mind you, I only climb in the 6's so what do I know

If nobody had done it clean, then why reset it? Surely better to wait for someone to step up to the challenge?

The route at Crawley is a beast. Tiny screw on chip type holds up the main overhang. Crazy! Well done mel
