Broughton Wall - is it now permanently closed?
Went past Broughton Wall just now thinking that Tuesday nights was late night and I'd pop in for a session - the building was closed.
Had a search on the forums which seem to indicate that the building was being closed (after a reprieve) at end of March 2014.
Is this what happened? Has the centre been shut since then?
Such a shame if this has now gone (although I'm sure it's physically still there) as I and others used to find it much more motivating than climbing on plastic.

Maybe a post on ukb. There are some knowledgeable devotees of Broughton on there.

Unfortunately we have lost this gem forever. The council will no longer pay to keep the center open. It closed last May. Looks like the place is set for demolition to make way for more housing in the area.
