I saw this film shortly after it came out in 1965. It stars Buster Keaton in one of his final film roles. The Railrodder was also Keaton's final silent film, as the film contains no dialogue.
It's a pleasant and laughable film with some good scenes of the Rockies towards the end. youtube.com/watch?v=EiqqxyZeDXo&
Of course a lot of younger UKCers will probably not have heard of Buster Keaton but might still enjoy it.
I remember Harold Lloyd was on all the time when I was a kid (70s/80s), much more than Chaplin and I barely remember seeing anything with Keaton. Even though Lloyd is probably the least famous of the three.
I remember a compilation show from the 70's. Theme tune - hooray for Harold Lord, da da dara. Ridiculous stunts, without modern safety limits. The clock scene springs to mind.
