Anyone got any idea how thick the copper plate underneath needs to be, I've got about 1.2Km of path to upgrade between my house and the local shops?

Looks amazing. Cant help but think it is a bit of a hoax though. Just the sceptic in me though, If real and actually scalable it will be quite a game changer in terms of transport once fully developed. Just image the savings in road repairs etc.

I suspect it's real or at the very least possible. I can see how they might have achieved it but it'd be very energy intensive.
