In reply to coolbert:

It'll just be dead snowy pal. But ultimately fine. If you don't mind the cold!
In reply to coolbert:

Nipped up it when the skiing was shit two years ago. Was fine- keep in mind that again the skiing shit so not a great deal of snow had recently fallen.

In reply to coolbert:

Yeah did it one winter season, so much snow on it and no one had been on it for a while, took a long time

But loved every minute of it

Bloody cold though

Yo,

Super-snowy, but still fun. The last chimneys, on the north side, are particularly chilly, bring a change of gloves.

Did it years ago, not much snow and dead straight forward, good fun. Crampons got in the way a bit sometimes.

In reply to coolbert: very cold and the bits that were normally an easy walk took an age wading through chest deep powder snow that felt rather (very) insecure. The night before I think the temps dropped below -25C and some. It was very beautiful and were it not for the other two climbers stuck in the AS hut with us the previous two nights due to a storm we had the place to ourselves.

Have fun.

Cheers

Toby
