Some years ago I bought a Mio A701 GPS/Phone/PDA. I think it's long ceased functioning properly and I've superseded it with a Samsung smartphone.

Anyone know of anybody who uses such defunct gadgets or what I could do with it? Maybe I'll toss it in the skip, having deleted all personal info.

The local recycling centre will take electrical items like that. Much better than a skip or normal waste as they contain some rather nasty chemicals.

Sorry - that was where I meant. We just refer to it as "the skip"
