Plummeting oil prices have made their way through to Peak district distributors, just bought heating oil at 40p per litre, which is 20% cheaper than the last time I filled the tank.
Anyone else getting a better price?

Looks like you bettered the average by almost more than 10%, having said when I was on oil I usually managed to get a better deal than the English average. Like with most things asking half a dozen suppliers to best price against each other quickly identifies a decent deal.

Have you also joined your local Oil Co-Op? Most of them guarantee to save you money.

Hi there,
yes we're in the Derbyshire Oil co-op, but I was too late to get a delivery and called a distributor (Peak Oil) direct, one full tank on the way!!

We paid 47p/litre for our last delivery (a couple of weeks ago). The delivery before that (February) was 64ppl or maybe even higher.
