Took a chance today and headed up the east face of Aonach Mor. Despite the thawing conditions a number of teams were out. People were climbing or aiming for White Shark, Morwind and Typhoon. Morwind and Typhoon were both in good conditions. On Morwind there was good ice and frozen turf on all the steep sections and the cracks were mostly free of ice for gear.
