I'm heading up to the Cairngorms this weekend and was thinking about Lurcher's, has anyone been up there recently and got a heads up to what it's conditions are like?

getting through charlamain gap on foot was reported to be very time consuming on sunday from the people we saw cragging there. It was easy on skis, but there were a number of waist deep holes in the tracks people made on foot.

There was a lot more snow today than on Saturday, both on the cliff and on the walk-in. Don't go through the Chalamain Gap. Go from the ski car park and down South Gully - it's much easier in current conditions. There is plenty of ice, but some buried under snow.
