Went to Udlaidh yesterday and it seemed a lot warmer than forecast. The bottom sections of the routes around the quartz vein scoop area were all melting with a lot of water starting to run down peter pan etc. A bit higher up the ice was better, with some pretty interesting mushroom/chandeliers forming in lieu of any cornices. Probably needs a really hard freeze again to be worthwhile.
