So the other day after a hard session training I got home and felt reasonably fine, in the morning after this I had a really bad pain at the top of my stomach and it was touching the bottom of my ribs where it makes a V. After wondering about this and thinking back to normal core pain after training I'm sure that this was different and after a bit of research I'm thinking that I've stretched my diaphragm and I'm wondering if anyone else has had this before, their way of dealing with this, If I should climb with this and how long did it take to get back to action?

Cheers

In reply to coreybennett:

If you are trying out something new in your training go easy to begin with so you have the movement and technique dialled first before you go for your max resistance.

Take a few days rest and ease yourself back into things.
Check out the "cat pose" and "cobra pose" yoga stretches this could be included briefly into your warm up/down if you find you are susceptible to aches as pains in your core.
