Does anyone use the Gite Vagabond in Chamonix? I've been trying to check availability for July but whatever dates I put it it comes up saying nothing available.

No, I just wanted to make a speculative enquiry for one night in July - to be decided. Is it ok?

Have stayed there a few times. Good location, clean, friendly and never had a bad experience. Used for summer alpine trips and a winter skiing trip.

You need to phone to reserve and they have always got English speaking staff. For the price you can't complain at all.

I stayed there for a couple of nights a few years ago, its well placed & OK for the price but it can be pretty noisy especially if you're in a room over the bar. Not a problem if you'll be in the bar (or elsewhere ) till late, but maybe a consideration if you are wanting some early starts
