..as per the title: I'm looking to get a fairly large number of photos (a dozen or so) printed on canvas, and there are hundreds of online services out there, any suggestions as to who's best for price and quality? "Real shop" recommendations (central London) also welcomed.

thanks

How do canvas prints compare to decent quality paper? I have a few photos I'd quite like to get printed at a reasonable size, possibly A2-ish, but I'm not sure what medium to go for. I'd always assumed paper would be best but realise this may not be the case.

Julian at the Pixel Printer does a sterling job: http://www.thepixelprinter.com/

It's far chaper than many other professional printers too. The quality is just as good, if not better, but somehow it's cheaper

not a real shop. But I use Orbit print and they have been spot on every time. Pretty cheap too if you get one of their 80% off deals.

We got this guy recommended by our wedding photographer. We bought a canvas from him and the quality stands head-and-shoulders above any other service I've seen (particularly the cheap ones like photobox, but also the more "premium" printers). I'd give my strong recommendation.

In reply to Nic: I've had a few done by Snapmad and been very pleased with them.
