Headed up to SCNL today to have a look at conditions post thaw. We climbed Twisting Gully which was in OK condition, good snow-ice in places, powder in other places from lots of spindrift. Crag was looking fairly black, although I guess this will improve over the next few days with snow showers and constant cold temperatures.
There were multiple teams on Dorsal Arete, Raeburns route, Forked Gully, and we climbed Twisting Gully.
We descended Broad Gully which was starting to build up with windslab, this could often be avoided, but where it couldn't it was only a thin reasonably well bonded layer.
