Tom at the summit of the Macintyre-Colton route, 3 kbBritish alpinist Tom Ballard has soloed the Macintyre-Colton route on the North-Face of the Grandes-Jorasses in 3 hours and 20 minutes. Tom now has just two ascents to complete in order to achieve his goal of climbing all six North Faces of the Alps in winter.

Impressive but seems odd that a project presumably named after Rebuffat's book ('Starlight & storm') doesn't feature the same routes.

V impressive and, from what little I've heard of Tom's achievements in the last few years, not much fanfare.
