Hi, can anyone advise typical conditions over the season/year at Dinas Rock please? ie does it take a long time to dry out after winter / rainy period or is it pretty climbable all year round. I'm particularly interested in the Main Crag.

Looks like a great venue, but a long drive for me if it were wet!

Was there today, i'd say about 90% was dry? some of the harder routes where a bit damp but if the weather is staying dry atm i'd say it'll be all good to go in a week or so??

Great crag, truly incredible amounts of polish!!

Just a note - the routes on the main crag don't suffer from polish and are really good. The bouldering does though.

Routes on the main crag vary. Berlin, Hyabusa, Subversive will dry out earliest. Chives tends to have a wet hold under the bulge for a while longer and Harlem stays wet at the starting bulges for quite a while (but the holds are big).
