hi has anyone got any better route or local info on Carreg y Foel Gron? ive got the Meirionnydd (2002) book but would like a bit more. my girlfriend lives in Aberystwyth and its one of her fave' craggs.

Have a look at midwalesclimbing. There was a new routes word document that had some extra info for the area in general and the crag in question. There are no pictures but it was fairly easy to work out what's where when you use the Meirionnydd guide. Its also worth going on the CC website as there are also a few routes logged on there.

BIG HINT: Look at how you've spelled crags in your OP.

SGD is spot-on with his info, but also be aware that the crag is quite heavily used by groups, so can be detrimentally busy if you happen to visit at just the wrong time. Some good bouldering below the crag - details in North Wales bouldering guide. Also, thanks for the tip elsewhere on post about Garreg yr Ogof. Will give that a go!
