One of the iconic sports commentators voices I grew up hearing. As masterful in his delivery on air as he apparently was with the ball in his hand, though I'm too young to have seen that.

RIP Richie! Oh the heady days of summer holidays in my youth, when his iconic greeting heralded a day lying on the living room floor watching Test Cricket on the Beeb or C4.
