The crags up on Barden Moor and Fell tend to get quite green over winter and also build a thin loose layer of surface grit so climbing there in spring can be interesting. Rolling Gate isn't too dissimilar from Rylstone but does suffer from fewer visitors. It's been fairly dry round here for most of this week and there's been a decent breeze so it might be OK but I'd take a soft brush to get rid of the loose patina. If you walk in via Rylstone and along the moor edge then if it's not in nick you can grab something on the walk back.
