I'm told there was a large rockfall there last year - and the tops of some of the more popular routes were left in a dangerous state.

Does anyone know the current situation? Is it still dangerous at the top of Ordinary/ Outside Edge routes?

Just to put your thread back up top again in order to hear the answer for myself.
We were in Snowdonia last weekend and one of my friends fancied the direct HVS route at Cwm Silyn,but we decided not to go as we remembered about the rockfall.Instead we climbed in the pass in the wind and sun.It was a brilliant place when I climbed there in the past,so I hope that it is going to be feasible again in the future.

Climbed outside edge route 2 weeks ago and didn't notice any rockfall anywhere on the climb. Was worried that there would be after reading about it here, but there wasnt anything that i noticed and im pretty sure i went the correct way
