I'm thinking of going to Pontesford tomorrow, the BMC access database says restrictions apply but not what the restrictions are or if they actually apply at the moment. Anybody know if there is a bird ban on some or all of the crag at the moment? Thanks.

I've no idea really but a lot of signs did appear a few years ago and I 'think' they only apply to some areas there. Worth a look, it's a quick walk in, and if it's restricted, Llanymynech and Nesscliff/Grinshill are a shortish drive away.

I'm pretty sure there is no ban in place at the moment. I've been going there for years and I can't remember any ban in place, certainly there was no ban two weeks ago.

There is no signs up at the moment on the main cliff, didn't see around the bottom Needle crag.
