Hit me with your solutions please.
I need to drop a few KG's working on that and wear compression shorts.
Suffering from this at the top of the tights around sensitive areas.
Is Vaseline worth a go?

I can recommend 'Udderly smooth' - I use it on ultras (along with some Skins A400 compression shorts) and finish with all parts relatively chafe free.

The page isn't working right now (not a good sign) but its the 'extra care cream'

I haven't used the others. I think I bought it from Wiggle.

I use Body glide http://www.wiggle.co.uk/bodyglide-skin-formula-regular-42g/?lang=en&cur...

and it the b#llocks (pardon the pun).

Use it on feet, groin, nipples, neck, shoulders if wearing a rucksack and waist if using a bumbag for a long time.

Never had an issue when using it.

Sudocrem!

I've used sudocrem for low-intensity chafing prevention (long distance walking mostly) - find that it works a treat, and is readily available.

yeah, me too. I was having particular problems with blisters between my toes, and I've taken to slathering vaseline between my toes and generally all over the front of my feet. Feels a bit weird to start, but works very well. I've also used vaseline elsewhere, with good outcomes.

I had a similar problem, and considered Body Glide, but was put off by imagining the reception in my local running shop from asking after what sounds awfully like a sex aid.

I used Climb On instead, which seemed to work okay.

Good to know Body Glide isn't what I thought it was. Maybe I'll try some next time the issue arises.

One thing to watch out for with that is that vaseline dissolves many glues - and since shoes can be held together by glues, it could slowly damage the shoes.

In reply to tony:

Same, toes and heels get vaseline'd for any long run, almost eliminates blisters.

I find that vaseline tends to melt and soak into clothing when used round the upper thighs and groin.

Chamois Buttr worked for me; quite tenacious and available in Evans and other cycle shops.
