Yes you are right...a topo is actually a photo diagram.

thanks for that. Unfortunately I tried the link and it would appear that google drive is just as distrusted by the work police! But if there is no photo-topo it's a bit by-the-by anyway. I will have to wait with patience.

Has the Rockfax effect been responsible for you to lose the ability read?

You don't really need a topo anyway as the lines are all in the ukc logbook so just count from left to right....as for route finding; follow the bolts

Nothing wrong with expecting a photo topo in 2015. Easy on the eyes and it just simplifies things. There's literally no reason to not include one.
