OK I might not be the sharpest tool in the UKC box, I might be a bit mutt and jeff, I might be a stupid old fart in the eyes of some pompous self righteous dicks on these pages but I still recognise the throaty roar of a Merlin engined Spitfire. Music to the ears. An hour ago one flew over Colwyn Bay and was doing aeros out at sea. Mrs. wondered why I had suddenly dashed out of the front door!
