Any recommendations on good family campsites in Cornwall? Doesn't need to be close to climbing as I doubt I'll get out, but then again, will pack the gear just in case. Not too worried about location, just has to be family friendly, not crazy busy and within an arms distance of pasty shop overdosing. simpler the better (within reason).

Very pretty and laid back site. Well sheltered with good facilities and fairly good environmental credentials. Situated near some very good beaches and an excellent beach side bar. Close to Redruth for your pasties, and they prob sell them on site. Bile hire available and situated on a good family friendly bike trail.

Some reasonable bouldering near by at Carn Brea and Gwithians beach.

Try Tower Camping at St Buryan. Near to Sennon and Porthcurno beaches as well as climbing. Have used the site for many years, nice facilities. Have fun!
