Two choices as far as I can see:
1. type Malvern into logbooks (various choices like Westminster Arms Quarry and reservoir Walls), but not sport.
2. don't visit mother-in-law and go to the Peaks.

Warehouse in Glos might be preferable to 1.

Wye Valley Sport @ Ban-y-gor Wintour's Leap Wyndcliff Quarry or Tintern Quarry is your best bet - all about 30 miles from Ledbury.

Isn't Tintern Quarry currently banned ?

In reply to GrahamD:
People have climbed there recently without problems, the BMC RAD states:

"The landowner has recently informed the BMC and climbers on site that he does not allow climbing in the quarry. Several unsucessful attempts have been made meet with the landowner, but no response has been forthcoming so far. Anyone climbing the the quarry may asked to leave - if this happens, please do so politely"

For good Sports climbing Ban y Gor is a better bet in any case.

Gotta keep the mother in law happy. I've only ever climbed mason lees. I live in Northampton, so I do Belive that's the closest crag.what else is good to climb in the peaks? I'm looking to go back up in a couple of weeks
