So here is a challenge for anyone in the peak who wants to do Gargoyle Flake. Stash a load of beers on the gargoyles. Climb the route to the gargoyles then hanging one handed chug as many beers as you can. Winner is the person who can chug the most!

I think that it is completely irresponsible to even suggest such a dangerous idea, and shame on you for doing so. If I were to be enjoying a day at Bamford and observe such behaviour, I would be sure to alert the local constabulary.

The hanging on the flake isn't the hard part.. drinking Bud is the problem.

If you can I think you would win outright.

To be fair, that chap makes drinking out of bottles look positively lame!

When I was a student (the first time) we had a party game where you locked out on one arm on a pull-up bar and drank white wine out of a teapot held in the other hand over the top of the bar.

In reply to David Staples:

sounds like a more extreme straight arm finish
