Like it says it the title, is there any bouldering in the Loire near Tours? Preferably at the easier end of things

In reply to Kyle Brown:

I grew up there and as far as I know, there is nothing, nada, rien, nichts. Some people climb up the walls on the banks of the Loire (on both sides of Pont Wilson (Wilson bridge) I believe) but I'm not sure whether it's legal, and in any case I don't think you'd have much fun. Most of the rock in this region is tufa, which is extremely porous (that's why they managed to carve troglodytic houses in cliffs). There's a climbing gym in Saint-Pierre-des-Corps: http://www.touraineescalade.fr/8.html . Otherwise the closest area is probably Fontainebleau (about a 2 and a half hour drive via the motorway for the southernmost areas).
