Dear all,

I am heading to croatia with the in-laws in september, primarily sailing and have seen there is a decent amount of DWS. I have purchased the guide and it all looks great. We will be starting at split - which seems like there is a decent amount there and will have a boat but no car, which i think rules in a several venues but rules out others. I was hoping to gain a bit more information from any personal experiences; it all looks good in the guide but
are the specific places people recommend?
What are the water depths like, clearly will assess before but useful to know for planning.
Any particular routes recommended not to miss?
Looking to be climbing from 6a - 6b+/c.

Any tips or experiences really welcome

Thanks in advance

It isn't in any guides but if you go anywhere near Mljet then have a look at odesseus cave. Really great spot for swimming and dws. The water is very deep and crystal clear. Lots to go at probably starting at 4 with potential for some fairly hard stuff as well; traverses, long routes and a lot of roof to play on.

These are photos from Split, ask uncle google about topo for DWS crag, I'm sure I had mine downloaded from croatian site. And don't worry about rocks down there, it's just the water soooo clear
