How do I calculate the spacing of the palings on a picket gate?
The gate width is 1220mm, there are 10 palings each 70mm wide.
10 x 70 = 700
1220 - 700 = 520
With a paling at each edge, there are 9 gaps between the palings
520/9 = a gap of 57.78
Can anyone confirm if this is correct?
