I usually "google" through Mozilla Firefox. When the results come up there is a clickable option "Search Tools" which allows you to select UK only results.

I now seem to have lost that option. Does anyone know how I can get it back please?

Top right hand corner under the red x a box with 3 horizontal lines in it. Click that. Click Options and it should show you what you're opening your homepage with. Mine is Google.co.uk.

Try duckduckgo. It's easy to toggle between country specific settings.

Googling in Chrome, it seems to know I am in the UK and automatically optimises.
