So, we headed up north in search of some dry, easy access rock that we hadn't covered yet. We found:
Brown Crag, near Tarbet (quite nice if short) the shortest walk in ever, then after the playground Fisherman's view crag. That was quite nippy.
Next day School Crag at Kinlochbervie. Quite a good crag, lots of grades and variety from E4 to VS and less. Lucas enjoyed a VS an Brian a cool E4. I did the middle.
Checked out whether Sheigra Treasure Island might be a goer for next day (with a 6 year old in tow), but everything was sopping including second geo
Went to Little Big crag Crag and Roads Depot crag instead.
Little Big crag....honestly....it said 20 min, it was 40 min across bog, heather etc. at least. The climbs were quite overgrown and small, but good to be fair. Anyone in the world who has done them?
Roads Depot crag had some great climbs. Good quality at least a couple of stars if not three although short.
Love it up there, so many places to explore!!
