Flapper treatment?

Evening all,
A large flapper has taken my finger hostage and refuses to surrender until it's demands of lots of attention and plasters have been met. It's threatening a few days painful climbing if I refuse. Normally I don't negotiate with flappers and ignore it's demands but this time I've decided to try diplomatic methods. Anyone any advice for how best to resolve the situation with some form of flapper treatment?
Cheers,
Greasy

Skin glue (ask at A & E for it?) or improvise with superglue (quite similar)

Give it the finger, so to speak

How does that work - don't you just end up with a chunk of dead skin glued to your finger? I ask because I recently took off a slice of skin by being over-enthusiastic with a garden spade (digging up reluctant hydrangea ... fell over... finger ended up between spade and paving stone) and the resulting flap just sat there being dead until I was able to bear to scissor it off.

Agh. Off to work...

She sounds most frightfully modern. Flappers are like that though and demand a lot of attention. Does she go to parties? Drive fast cars? Drink alcohol and seek out casual sex?

No point in fighting it just let her have her way.....

I know I should. It's this terrible jazz music that I find so distasteful. Whatever will they think of next?

Flapper girl, flapper girl
Prohibition in curls
Hair of gold and a neck of pearls
It's flapper girl

Protects the sensitive area underneath while it heals, enabling you to carry on using the afflicted area. The glue & dead skin will slough/can be picked off in time
