I was standing a set of trusses in Auchterarder yesterday and it was fookin' baltic. Had to actually pie it as it was so cold and wet. However, the hills to the north were completely white, Not sure what the Cairngorms were like but surely this is a good sign. Just hope my roof is still standing on Monday as I lost one at Linwood on Monday and it was braced as per the drawing!

In reply to Nigel Thomson:

Ragged snow line at 500 to 700m in Kintail and areas of surprisingly well established windslab at 800 to 1000m on Saturday night.

As ever, it can change again in an hour or two!

Either that or very bad luck! The tile battens would have given it a bit more strength but a defo foo pie. All the top hats and ceiling chords were in bits. The roughing joiners will be cursing us as it never goes back up the same.

Sarking in Scotland is a sensible tradition.
